Week 2 - Day 3 - Activity 2

1. Do jobs inside and outside of the house for them.
2. Collect useful items and sell them.
3. Reuse items that could be used again and again.

In this activity I had to say what I'd do to fund raise for families in the 1930s that had barely any money.

  1. Hi Mataio

It's Allie again from the SLJ team.

You have come up with some really great ideas for fundraising for families in need.
Doing jobs for them is very kind of you.
Collecting things that you can sell is a really good idea. What sort of things to you think you would collect? Where would be find them? And who and where would you sell them?
Re using items, you would be teaching people how to recycle.
    Do you recycle in Auckland?
We have recycling in Greymouth, although we haven't had it for that long.

You sound like you are a very kind person and I am sure that you would be great at helping people that were in need.

Great job Mataio, I look forward to reading more of your posts over the summer. Keep up the good work.

    Until next time

    Allie :)

  2. Hello Mataio
Well done on completing this summer learning journey activity. Your ideas are great. I like the third one the best - reduce, reuse and recycle is a great option to save some more money. Keep up the awesome work Mataio.
