TinkerCad - Design Process

Today at tech we created a google slide on how to use TinkerCad. I took screenshots of what I was talking about to give people a better understanding. The first time I used TinkerCad I found it easy because my graphics teacher Mrs Ferguson helped me a lot.

What can the design be used for? Alarms, Hold, Video watching and charging.

What will the design look like? It need to be able hold a phone in any angle.

What can you do with the design? A lot of things

Where am I going to put the design? In my bedroom or table

Where are we going to make the design? In Tamaki College

Why

Why are we making the design? So you can watch movies and youtube videos.

Why do we need it? Because it makes life easier

Who will use this design? Me and family members

When will we take the design home? 10 weeks

When will the design be used? When I get sick of fortnite and go on my phone.

How durable are the materials? It depends if it comes out thick or not

Today at graphics we talked about design briefing.We wrote down a bunch of who, what, where, when and how questions. After writing them I answered the questions. Then we made a comparison between two different mobile stands we found on the internet. We compared the color the style and some of the materials.

Technology - Food Tech

Today we had food tech. We made Quiche. In the Quiche there was bacon, spaghetti. On the top we put egg on the top. First we got all of our supplies to make the Quiche. Then we got the pastry and a cup to make perfect circle. With the left over pastry we used a roller to spread the pastry and make more. We had to have twelve pastry's to fill up the trays. It was very fun and delicious.

Technology - Digital Tech

Today at Digital Tech we started our animated story on scratch about healthy living. The first thing we did was a kahoot. To me the quiz was easy because it was just about what we learnt. After that I created my animated story is about picking up rubbish and keeping our environment clean.

Tech- Digi Tech

Today at Tech my group are doing Digi Tech. Our teacher for Digi Tech is Ms Anderson. We were developing skills so we can make a game on scratch at the end of the term. After That we made our own site. We were playing a game called Moana we had to get away from the Kakamura and join moves like move forwards, turn right and turn left. Tech Today was amazing.

Tech-Design

Today we went to Tech. We were finishing of our design for the people we are making the jewellery for. After that we had to draw a oblong and your favourite animal. I drawed a Dog, Dragon and a Unicorn animal. Then we had to trace our picture on a smaller paper. It was really fun I can't wait until we get our design's 3D printed.

Design Tech

Today at Tech we had to make an eye and a cartoon character it was very challenging. I hope we can do the same thing again next week but harder.

Tech-Graphic

 Today at Tech we had to create an eye in Tinkercad. It is a fun app to use. We just had to use cylinders it was very easy for me I had to go help a lot people. We had to rotate 1 of the cylinders 180 degrees. We had to group a lot of cylinders. It was very fun to use.

Technology-Graphics

Today for tech we finished our planning and is drawing pictures and cuing them out on cardboard. Tech was very fun today at the end we got the first letter of our name put in the laser cutter we could put it on our chrome book case, a necklace or a bracelet. It is sad that we don't get to go to tech next week because we have camp but we are going to have a lot of fun at camp to.

Design-Tech

 Today at tech we got taught how to use Tinkercad it is a fun site to use we had to video a new skill that we learnt and made ourselves name tags. Mrs.Ferguson showed us a little bit of the laser cuter. It smells but is awesome to look at and I can't wait untill we use it.

Technology-Graphics

Today the year 7 and 8 went to tech at Tamaki College. Half of the year 7 went to wood work and the other half went o graphics. The year did food tech. They cooked kabas and potato salad. Today for tech we were learning about Jewellery's. The fun thing today about tech was we got to draw four items that we picked last week for the client we are going to make the Jewellery for. I am doing a necklace for my friend Ofa. I know he likes David Fusitua, Skittles, Soccer and Baseball. I have drawed all four pictures. There are some pictures there when we were learning.

Technology-Lesson 2- Product Research

Unistructural,Multistructural, Relational and Extended Abstract. We learnt all of these words at Tech today. Tech today was amazing we got to pick four of our Ideas and draw on a piece of paper. I picked a baseball,Soccer,David Fusitua and Skittles. Before that we wrote answers on 4 specific jewellery. I learnt a lot at Tech today and I can't wait till we go next week to learn more with Mrs Ferguson.

Tech

Today we had to make a DLO on tech because every friday we go Tech at Tamaki college. There was 3 groups they were Jewellery,Woodwork and food.  I was in Miss Ferguson's group we were creating Jewellery we had to write down 5 people to create the Jewellery for i picked Ofa, Zane, Mrs. Anderson, Josh and Jona. I picked Ofa out of all 5 of Zane, Mrs. Anderson, Josh and Jona. Next I had to write down things they liked. Ofa liked 6 things sprinting,Rugby League, Soccer, Rugby League and skittles. After that we had to write down types of Jewellery.

Technology Graphics-Design Brief

Today we went to Tech we were split into 3 groups. My teacher is Miss Ferguson. The other groups are doing food, 3d printing,Art,Laser cutter and woodwork.  I am designing something for my friend Ofa.
