This week my inquiry group was Ancient and Modern Olympics with Mrs. Naicker we had to find out facts about Ancient and Modern Olympics and we did the differences and similarity about each one.

Warriors visit

On Wednesday 2 people from the Warriors came to our school Ryan Hoffman and John Palavi they gave out prizes,asked question and gave good advice. It was awesome for them to come to our school and give out prizes and ask questions.

Today we had to out about comets.

L.I To use a range of vocabulary to create a picture in the reader's head.
This week for writing we did poetry first we had to get in groups and make up your poetry using adjective,adverb,verb  and noun. After that we had to do our own poetry my one was about The sky and The boy.

L.I Add and subtract the number using the column method. Today we had to solve subtraction using the column method.

On maths I went on Transum and answered basic maths questions.We are learning to solve Addition and Subtraction by using the column method.

Non polluting car

We had to find the most important idea in a text. We had to read a story and find out the main idea and what text type it is. The text that we read was a procedure  because it had materials and steps which teach you how to make it. If we had a word that we didn't know we had to do a word web on it.

Drone

Today we had to write a advertisement about a drone we got a picture and put down stuff like limited edition to try convince someone to buy the drone.

LI: To find related words. Today Jericho and Myself did word webs.We Did More than we where suppose to do.We read how to make a non-polluting car.The words on this slide is the words that I personally do not know.Once we found the word we had to write synonym around the word We did not know.The hard thing was to do was finding trust able websites to find the definition of a synonym.
